Nearly four years ago, a guy like many, like so many in one night, right near our house came home, as do all of them after a night out. It was late, very late, almost morning. Perhaps a few words too many, some excess instinctively released and after a few minutes there is a boy beaten up on the ground and four policemen standing. Nobody knows how it really happened. They said they had crime of assault alone (swollen face, broken ribs 4, and a number of other injuries all over the body). They said they had nearly killed himself with drugs taken during the evening. They tried to throw the wool over the eyes, to cover up everything, to make the victim the perpetrator himself.
Now there is a ruling that, beyond the accusations, condemning them. It was all black, now is a little more gray ... light gray. There will be an appeal, the sentences will be reduced further, probably no one will serve one day in prison. We will have the consolation to see that even the police sometimes make mistakes. And maybe pay.
